theres people on this board running holsets that were designed for 5.9l deisels on completely stock b16's. other people with super t70's ect who ------- cares its obvious this guys gonna run this turbo so why not stop trying to **** on his idea and let him tell us when it actually spools instead of saying its to big based on some other motor. you guys got to keep in mind some v6 motor revving to 5k and a lazy auto doesnt equate to a 1.6l revving to 9k with a short trans. honestly even if it doenst even spool till 5k WHO CARES, rev it to 9k with type r cams and you will NEVER see below 5k.

RUN IT AND TELL US WHEN IT WILL SPOOL, stop the bench racing!!!

oh yeah and that crap about "you better have fuel" no ----, you cant just slap a turbo on a NA motor, i would hope to god hotrex will wideband tune it right away. like getting fuel is so complicated... you put in big injectors (wich he says he already has otherwise they are only 300 max), use your FREE tuning software on a stock chipped computer (uberdata/chrome) and spend upwards of 200 dollars on a wideband (innovate lc-1) and datalog for the cost of a 10 dollar cable and a laptop that can run windows... oooooo thats sooo hard...

actually, for me that ---- is considerable cheaper. liek i said 400whp capable setup motor and turbo kit combined.... motor will be in and running in 2 weeks tops.

5k spool is about what i expect. big deal. its getting cams spring s and retainers and in reving it to 9500 end of discussion

that's it bwahaha, 400 is the equivalent of the 300 you were trying to hit for so long, you're always two steps behind joshy. isn't your block sleeved?? i'd be going for about 800whp, you -----.

Just as a reference the mk3 supra motor (3L L6) spools that turbo 10 psi between 3 and 3.5k.

no no i think he's trying something new. instead of saying 300 and not making it. he's gonna shoot low and get the big numbers this time.

Just wondering if you ever ended up using this turbo? The flow rate is 3.3~17.5 m³/min or 166.5~618 CFM at a 2.0 Pr, so more than enough for 300HP. Whether you make that is another story but certainly possible.

Maximum Pr is 3.3 which is roughly 34 psi, just an FYI. I have 3 of them at the moment in case anyone else is interested. I won't be sellign any of them for $30 though :P
