I only think I heard a true concern if you were building the engine and boosting high psi or shooting for big numbers would it be a concern. I don't know though, that's all hearsay. Mine is running fine. The aluminum pan is no deal to tap. The oil pump I have no clue about, same with the rod bearings being poopy (that one is new to me).
