I had the same problem with an older garrett t3 that I got shafted with from someone on here. Had a little shaft play but not alot and it seemed ok before I put it on, but the first day driving it started fogging up the road with oil clouds. Tried all the normal fixes...restrictor, return, everything. Turned out the center was coked solid and all the oil going in had no place to go. A little would seep into the return line and all the rest would shoot into the exhaust.
