if you spaced the pillars like GE does in thier godzilla sleeves but ran then down the cyl farther i dont see where the blockage problem is

the only thing is will the pillars stayin place w/ the gaps between them

hhmmm...i like the idea.. maybe you shoud give it a try and let us know how it goes..haha..i might be looking into this when i start building my new motor..but i'm still skeptical because it is a daily driver. If it affected cooling that much..how do stock closed decks work? woudln't there cooling efficentcy suck?

i had also thought of the "pillar" idea.

i was thinkin about drilling out the passages, then drilling some smaller holes inbetween, then filling the very top of the with filler.
the "pillars" dont have a hole where the HG is, and they dont have a place to go into the head. with the water nowhere to go it will pool up at the top and just get extremely hot and be way way way worse than to begin with.

then i thought about drilling sideways from the main water passages (throught he HG and into head) into the little passage(s). to allow the water to flow through

seems like that would work
