just had a question on useing block filler moroso makes it its called hard block you fill the water jacket in the block not all the way just about a inch or so theres a speed shop thats close to my house they use it in a lot of there customers v8 n v6 cars and i thought it might work on the honda motor just thought i would ask

There would really be no point in using both. I mean if your filling your water jackets than you might as well just fill them 3/4 of the way up and they'll be plenty reinforced. the blockguard might just distort the walls.
Sleeves usually crack in the middle anyways so what I would do is just fill the jackets and say to hell with the blockguard

I read somewhere once, you put salt in the bottom of the block, filled about 1/4 of the way
then you put straws in, fill the block with the filler, let it harden, then pour the salt back out (through the straws. then deck the block.
and "straws" arent the plastic McDonalds straws :P

i dont know what straws you would use but anything plastic would most likely end up melting...i would just drill through it. Ive thought about filling a block with the salt method, but i think i like posting better.
