Default Any Tips On Junkyard Turbo Picking?

Howdy, I read the newbie faq and all that good stuff. Just going out to the junkyard tommorow and wondering if anyone has any other tips to offer.

I'm piecing together a kit for a Civic w/ a D15B7 and was thinking that the TE04H looked awfully nice. But i'm still not quite sure, are there any you guys think will be better for the job?

Thanks in advance, any comments & suggestions are extremely appreciated.

BIGGEST TIP EVER: take the ------ support bracket off the bottom of the turbo FIRST!!! oh and bring some "PB Blaster" and a Coke... spray all the bolts with PB and drink the coke and acess what needs to be done before starting.

turbo Merkur XR4's, Mustang SVO, T-Bird Turbocoupe, AND Cougar XR7 (always forgotten) 2.3L are some of the best to get turbos from. nice size for pretty much any car...

Don't forget Saab. They have nice .42/.48 T3's

Before doing anything. just take off enough to check the shaft for play. If they have excessive play, it might not be worth taking the time to pull. Move on to the next one.
