I had the EXACT same problem your having. I tried a 90 bend and it caused alot of smoking. I ended up clocking the turbo quite a bit more, and i had to drill out the bracket for my wastegate actuator so i could rotate it. I still get some smoking but nothing like before

if you put the 45 degree elbow on it will it be able to flow down? cause it if can than that should be ok as long as gravity can do its thing

Hey, correct me if i am wrong, doesn't the Optional oil pressure ball valve makes the smoke go away? Stealthmode, can you verify this?

yes and no. if your seals are fucked beyond help then nothing will help them. what the valve does is lower oil pressure going to the turbo, so if the excessive pressure is what's pushing oil out of your seals your smoking should stop.

same set up as me, rotate the center section for the compressor outlet to clear the xmember, redrill the hole on the wastegate, mount it with 1 bolt, 45 degree drain fitting. good to go

ok, went to the local store and bought a 45 today. looks like its going to work. BTW: does any one have a pic or something that shows how much the oil level goes up on a civic/crx. it would be good to know where to put my bung for the return!
