The Z6 head will help a lot if you want to go past 300whp, but then again so would a delta cam in the non-vtak head. What I meant about the SRP pistons & stopping at 300whp is that they require a bit more clearance than other forged pistons because of the alloy they use. It expands more, and given the amount of meltdowns they've seen - do in fact melt easier.

And now that I see the turbo setup - goddamn is that ghetto! You *definately* will need a better exhaust setup if you want to pass 250whp. You may hit 225whp at 18psi with that tiny downpipe. Going from a 2.25" to 3" on a 250whp setup will get you 25-50whp at the same PSI, and the gains keep increasing as you increase the PSI. You also spool a lot faster.

As for this i forgot to write my cam up there but i do have the 272/260 cam from delta. I see what you mean about the pistons and im going to have to talk to the machine shop and ask them clearances and such because im not sure what they set piston to wall to.

Yes i agree my setup is on the ghetto side for now, but i plan on going better when i change turbos this is a for now turbo and exhaust untill i get some money again plus i want to get it tuned and charge piping welded w/o 100 couplers before i can turn boost up n e where near 18psi.

what do you think i should do???
1.) get it tuned now and then when i change the exhaust and turbo get it retuned. or
2.) Wait and run basemap with low boost and use money for tuning to upgrade the other ----.

thanks, i liked my intercooler out like that at first but then i thought it looked kinda hacked since i didnt do the best job with cutting the bumper and when i changed it i was much happier because now not only is it one less thing for the cop to look at me for but its one less thing noticed by everyone else i kinda like the sleeperness now. :6
