i got a walboro 255 off a buddy i built an engine for. My stock pump just went bad and he told me to take it. I went to put it in 20mins ago and it doesnt fit. i was like WTF So i checked the part # and its for a mustang. But egay auctions say their somewhat universal. Should i get the correct pump, or just make this one work. The wire connector does plug in

ZI just installed one of the ones Chris is selling non-wlbro but it was pretty mucha universal pump but if you look at the list i think it covered a few different manufactures so you may be able to make it work...i had to rewire it but it came with the plug and the pump only has a "+" and "-" conection so it was fairly easy...HTH I'd just order the right pump and sell that one on e-bay also a vouch for Chris pump being a quailty piece for $85 shipped
