not uncommon, i have mine shimmed and occasionally i have to beat it with a hammer to get it to hold closed out of boost.

The DSM 14b actuator/WG setups are a hokey hunk of ----, thats for damn sure.

 

Yeah, at the end of the day internal wastegates are crap.

 

tested it out today and gauge hit 10 and sometimes 11psi at full throttle. contacted the dude i bought the kit from and he sayed its a 16g wastegate. not good since i have a fmu/missing link/stock fuel pump. going to try the local turbo shop tommorow for lower wastegate. any good places to get one online?, looking for 6-8 psi.

 

TD05h (14b/16g/some 20g) actuators are all the same. 9psi. Trying to run lower boost is retarded, just trust me on htat.
