damn d-series home made setups have something to look up to now. any reason you went with the y7 head over the z6 head? and with a z6 head a mild cam, and nos and I bet you make low 10's

Ya I wouldnt be suprised to see 11 20s -30s on the M&H DOT tires.... I was only running 13-13-17-21 PSI in 1-2-3-4, so Ive got ALOT more power to play with.... I was really nervous about the tranny fragging (which, it DID on the ------- way home), so I really babied it out of the hole (2.1x 60'), granny shifted 1-2 and 2-3, but still trapped 128 with lots of boost left to play with. It will see 10s for sure on slicks... The goal is 10.80s @ 135MPH Anything faster (which obviously I have the power for) will be just icing man. This straight cut **** gearbox sounds like sex and has been beaten very well on 20-21 psi for the last 20 gallons of fuel in it. Its SOLID, going to pull it back apart now that I know its going to live and put an LSD in it.....so I do plan on going back soon. I definately need more seat time. Its a heavy car and hard to get out clean ya know.... Think im going to see just how fast I can go on the DOT tires first.
Car pulls ALOT harder withthe new gearset (WAY closer 2-3-4-5), and 1st is lots longer... which should really help 60s... ---- I can do like 50 in first.... I ran a friend Im usually neck and neck with at 17 PSI a piece, and walked away from him pretty well. The TQ the H puts out makes short work of the gearset, only shitty thing is Ill have to shift fifth (which kind of weirdly is butter, just like a 2-3 - Saenz really did his Homework). One things for sure... Now, My foot will not come off of the gas pedal till the end of the trap lights....

I want see this car in the 10's. I say we start a Joe budget fund. I will put down 5 bux to get it started for a lsd (I'm not cheap but it's all I have in paypal), and that z6 head that I have. Come on people put down a few bux and lets see what a super low budget race car can do!!!

joe is the most hardcore ----------er out there. and to think, before you met me, you LOVED your all motor sohc. 
honestly joe, those are some of the most impressive runs i've ever seen. also, knowing that you make ~300 whp and you're knocking on the door of tens, makes my dick hard.
