400 will roast tires in 4th gear on the street. And that I cannot do.

Its just a light car. More important than anything.

thats not hard to understand at all, the car is gutted, every time you take weight off it lowers the 60ft. This car is as gutted as most race only cars thats why it can run so well on such little power. to give you a example my current d motor makes 300/255 but in my full weight street car with stereo and other things still in the car my traps average 116 mph.

I wouldnt say as light as some race cars. Depends on the race car.
I havent "cut" anything out of the car yet. But I will if I end up getting caged.

Hahahaha Brett, I work with John at Honda and Dans a tech at Infiniti. Dans got a RSX that is very soon to be boosted. Hell he went 13.8 with bolt ons.

does the chevelle owner have a flow bench, id like to see if there is much if any improvement. Ive seen quite a few honda heads get ported and actually lose flow, and this was by a master tech in Machining. The gain seems to be alot greater in old chevy's and ford's where manufacturing tolerances were alot greater than these little honda heads, but let me know how it goes i would really like to see some decent gains (give me another project to do )

That's more on the B series VTAKK heads, because they already flow so well from the factory, altering that port geometry can ---- up your whole day. :P

D-series benefit a whole lot from good port work simply because they have economy ports that try to keep the fuel homogenized and the velocity even at all rpm, i.e. not made to flow as much air as you'd want to flow through it.

D-series + Good port + cam = much better engine.
