Hence my daily is boring as hell.
just my 2 cents.

---- yeah toyota motors last. My lexus es300 (3.0 Toyota motor) lasted 285000miles before finally starting to burn coolant, and even then I still drove it to school for 2 more months until I sold it. Salvage title, 285000 miles, everything is fucked up except for the stereo for $1500.

The problem with Toyotas has never been engines, (with the exception of the failure M series) its always the retarded wiring design, and the fact that you will chase electrical gremlins on any toy older than 10 years for the rest of its life.
Been doing some homework on the FIC, and it seems to be a fairly easy thing to wire in, but actual tuning might have a bit of a learning curve. I plan on using one on my 951, just because I want to keep it as 'stock' as possible and retain wiring/sensors for resale.
FIC seems to be the trick for Scions though. No Check Engine lamp worries and such. As with anything not stock though, there will always be bugs.
Poke around here for abit.

Pretty impressive for a piggyback.
