Default Altitude woes....Advice/insight needed

So, I decided to log my MAP sensor today, with ignition on, but car off to get my total atmospheric pressure here in colorado. 814mBar. Wow, that's ------- homo. That means my atmospheric pressure is only 11.8 PSI. That means i have to run 2.9 PSI to get the same amount of air N/A guys get at sea level...So does this mean I can safely run More boost than sea level guys, since absolute air pressure will be the same? Like....Sea level = 14.7+7.5PSI=22.2 PSI Absolute, denver = 19.3, so could i boost an extra 2.9 PSI?
