04' xB turbo? NEED Insight/ideas/Help
OK, I've decided I think I wanna turbo the xB, Its my daily, and By no means do I think it will be fast, I want to boost her at 4-6 psi max. Mainly for towing I have a very small traylor that I pull my barstool racer and pit bike on, Just want alittle something to take the strain off the little 1.5. I Cannot afford the almost $3000 greddy kit, although its seems to fit most of my guidlines. I'm pretty sure want a cast manifold, and good engine managment. I have no idea where to start. I'm not really conserned about the motor beeing able to handle it because TRD Europe has a supercharger kit from the factory and TRD Japan has a turbo kit, althought it seems to be very rare, And My too buddys that are YODA techs, seem to think she'll do just fine. So I need HMT's help. Im a honda guy and don;t know about yoda's aftermaket support. Meaning, can there ECU's be chipped/programed, is there another yoda car that has the same drive train, that somone makes a mani for ect. Any help will be awsome. ALSO I have seached around and any infomation I have found seems to be very vauge.

ZumCRX1 well the easiest and safest way would be a nice sticker that says turbo on it if that don't get you what you want i suggest buying 1 of everything they sell for your car on ebay |

Oh, CRX is gone, was a boosted b20 vtec. Now I'm working on a Built, stroked, boosted GSR in my ef hatch, currently has a ZEX fed b18b in it. Not looking for a toy, like I said, I want a touch more pulling power. ZumCRX1 |

ZumCRX1 which is one of my personal top 10 worst cars out of japan i mean they are useless, good at nothing,ugly,there is nothing good about them if it's that big a deal i say sell it and get a truck or somthing like a 4wd civic to pull a trailor (actually a f20/h22 swapped turboed 4wd civic would be kinda cool and have plenty of oomph, it's what i would work on) |

boost the xB. It's something different and i'm ------- tired of seeing turbo hondas on here (no offense).
I'm actually in a silmilar boat with my Ranger. I use it for towing and its weak as balls so I'm thinking of throwing on a tiny turbo for that. I would look into the AEM F/IC, figure out what injectors fit - etc. I'm not sure if that's a returnless system or not. Never worked with one but its something you'll want to find out. Should be a relatively easy project. |

So you're going to void the warranty on the Xb? becasue you want more power.
Just sell it and get something with more power. The best thing a gearhead can have is a reliable daily driver. Hence my daily is boring as hell. just my 2 cents. |
