Yah so when you go and design your first manifold for an engine you have never worked on be sure to post up pics of your end results

I have had some customers, with simular mentalities to you, order before (order t4 topmount to go in a crx) and are going to put gt42r on the engines,
well guess what 2 days after recieving the manifolds the genious'es call and are complaining about having to butcher the radaiator core support
these people seem to think real racecars just bolt together (sounds like your philsophy also) well bad news, they dont
The sooner people realise that 10 second cars dont come out of a box the better this sport will be

As to being terafied of the fuel lines getting hot, assuming the engine isnt running with 1600+ egts the fuel lines will only see aprox 250 degrees, believe it or not buddy there are some people that believe in super heating the fuel (500+ degrees)
The theory behind this is simular to using alchy on the engine, if you heat the fuel up high enough it will instanly vaporize when it leaves a pressurised state (when it comes out the of injector for simple minded people) and pulls out all heat in the intake stream (this is why alchy does so go, it vaporises pulling out all heat int he air), it also atomizes better to get a better burn in the engine

Assuming the fuel system has no leaks and isnt squirting fuel all over the place you would have no worries about this (if it is then I suggest you get that problem fixed before you recieve a darwin award)

If you want to know more about superheating the fuel do some research on f1 fuel systems, endurance racing, top speed racers and you might just learn something

Goforth's CRX is assembled with bolt together pieces, and it is a 10 second car. You don't need GT42 to hit 10's, despite what they say on HT, it takes T04E and street tires with a good driver.

10's arent that hard to achieve



350 whp and good driver

so a b16 on 20 psi and a shitty log manifold

It has 423 @ 1800 lbs. Real hard to go wrong.

who gives a ----. im sure the entire car is built with bolt together parts. no fab work what so ever involved.
