Got it all done- single 2" sched 10 pipe for the wastegate, with a sheetmetal diver inside to keep the pulses seperate.

I got the aluminum exhaust done this weekend (leftover 3" ching chong intercooler piping FTW!) We'll see how long it survives...

I also picked up some pretty baddass recaro's for it, so I am stoked about that. Will get some pics up tonight!

 

aluminum exhaust right off the turbo?

 

downpipe is stainless per the pics above, there is a stainless flex welded to the end of that, then the rest is aluminum.

 

As long as your downpipe is more than 2' long it should be fine. I have seen plenty of aluminum exhausts from the firewall back.
