Yep... posted my block today. Didn't buy a kit, got some T6 aluminum rod, threaded it myself. Worked pretty good, cept the lock was a pain to get the threads to start... Only one side is JB'ed cuz the damn ---- never hardens fast enough, so I will JB the other side tomorrow. Dont mind the dirty *** cyl's...

Yeah I was going to... JB always acts funny for me... if it doesnt hold I have some stuff at work that will... or I will just bring it in and get them welded at work. I love working at a steel manufacturing plant, I can get anything from steel to mach work.

did you cut the ends off yours near the block then JB it or just leave it? mine arent cut off yet and im wondering which way is best to do it

he has threaded rods into the block to push on the sleeves to make them really distorted. Which is all well and good if you get the block machined

I think endyn says to torque them to like 2inch lbs. basicly just touch the sleeve and stop.
