Default Posted my block today...

Yep... posted my block today. Didn't buy a kit, got some T6 aluminum rod, threaded it myself. Worked pretty good, cept the lock was a pain to get the threads to start... Only one side is JB'ed cuz the damn ---- never hardens fast enough, so I will JB the other side tomorrow. Dont mind the dirty *** cyl's...

Sorry for the crappy pic quality... damn camera is old doesnt like to focus well anymore.

Yeah I was going to... JB always acts funny for me... if it doesnt hold I have some stuff at work that will... or I will just bring it in and get them welded at work. I love working at a steel manufacturing plant, I can get anything from steel to mach work.

he has threaded rods into the block to push on the sleeves to make them really distorted. Which is all well and good if you get the block machined

I think endyn says to torque them to like 2inch lbs. basicly just touch the sleeve and stop.
