I cut them to the edge of the block. if you do this make sure you take them out first so you dont cut into the block. I thought about leaving a little bit sticking out but I was worried about the JB cracking easier since it would have to extrude outwards.

i'd think that much pressure could oval out the cylinders past the point of fixing them hence why they say 2inch pounds

im going to do this to my LS block, but i dunno If i wanna buy teh rod of not, for teh effort of driving to teh metal shop getting teh rod, going back out to my machine show which is a half hour away and doing all teh work... seems worth it just to buy the kit
