Thats what i was told from someone on here thats what he used when he Tig'd up his Top mount manifold...

 

That was Aaron (WeirTech). Aaron skills in fabricating are beyond most!!! Trust me, I'm not to far from him and I've seen them in person.

My manifold will be out of Mild Steel 16g also but 0% of the weight will be on the manifold.

I can be done, but Sch 40 manifolds bearing the weight of a turbo crakc all the time so watch out!

i made my top mount with the good old mig then went over it with the stick welder to make sure it doesnt break

 

my miller 135 is awsome. though i have never migged a manifold im sure it would be OK
