The only thing is that those hiems will start to rattle soon. Those hiems dont look like they have a lot of miss alignement and that will cause them to bind and fail. If you made the tabs on the main cross tube vertical and used poly bushings and a cromoly hiem on the other end. is there a way to have two tabs off of the control arms to make it stronger? The setup looks good. I just think that it would suck to have something break going down the freeway.

The Civic/Integra 92-00/94-01 are not sturctural for the vehicle to operate. The just add rigidity. If you had one wear out or even break there would be no adverse effect minus the unit not working as well. Its different for a CRX,EF,DA where the traction bar takes the place of the crossmember and if it fails you have an issue. I have seen Lakewood(G-sport) bars and they are the same as what I make. They work fine and the truth is that if you wear out a heim they are easily had or upgraded.

They also make heim joints that you can easily keep a rebuild kit handy for and rebuild.

they call them...rebuildable...imagine that.

accords and preludes are just like efs as far as "traction bars" go.. so IMO, it's not a good idea... and now that i've read the whole thread, i see that i'm not alone.
