Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I am trying to build an exhaust for my car and had a question about the original formula.

I follow all the math, but am lost as to where the angle of 11* comes from? Wasn't the angle 12 when you divide the bend angle/2x5?

I meant 12 degrees, not 11. Mistypo.

Either I am right, or I am wrong, but there is a part I feel, is missing. 11*12...11*0.288. How did u get 0.288 from 12?
