I can actully weld with certifications and skills to do the talking. I have offered my time and machine to help people weld ---- up and teach em. I have also shipped some free parts to Donnie and didnt even charge shipping. Bout to send Marty 10pounds of SS 1/16 fillermetal just cost of shipping. So you gtfo. I dont see your *** helping people with free parts or donating your time.

I’m not saying that you’re not a good welder but this is HMT. Not everyone can afford to throw a few grand towards buying a welder. You need to make things work with the money you have to spend. If that means jb welding your blow off valve on then it needs to be done. I would love to have a full ac/dc tig but I can’t afford that for a long time. I have a feeling that a lot of people on this forum don’t have the means to do it either. Until I can afford a nicer welder i would be thrilled to have a smiley tig since it would do 90% of the things I would want to weld. If we all had unlimited money or were certified welders then I agree the AC/DC GTAW is the way to go but for most of us a smiley would do just fine. I didn’t actually mean GTFO (sometimes I’m an angry drunk) but you need to realize that even though a smiley isn’t the best machine in the world it will still produce a very useable weld at a very reasonable price and for us simple folk its good enough.
