For anyone thats used a JY Chrylser turbo Im sure ryou know that the exhaust housing on thier turbos faces the wrong way for most "normal" aplications, sice its on the rear of the engine when factory installed. Chrysler also saw fit to use some goofy *** flanges that look like regulat T4 / T4 ---- but are completly different. Ive seen "internal wastegate" flanges on eGay for a regular T3 and wondered if anyone had seen them for the bastard chrysler bolt pattern, or if anyone had a sugestion on how it could be made to work. Otherwise I was just going to hack off the stocker and weld some sch40 to it in some kind of bastardized fashion.

 

are you talking about the turbo with the wider spacing 5 bolt flange, known as the mercedese flange?

 

It could be, I was looking at this one supplier that said that the bolt patterns was different than a normal T3, but in looking at them online they look the same. Has anyone bought a flange to use on a TE04H or a Chrysler T3?

I have one that looks just like a normal t3 but the bolt pattern are spaced a little wider, I bought a flange off ebay by request, I had to send a cutout of the pattern to the seller, I still have the swing valve part.

 

Is the swing gate you have the original or one with a v-band type thing on it?
