Uberteg is a busy guy. In addition to being in college full time, he has a g2teg that he keeps blowing up and needing to fix.

He may be a little bit difficult to deal with, but he is an honest kid and a ------- genius to boot. Honda-tech is one of the least-common-denominator forums there is. In my experience, Uberteg has little-no patience for newbies and "stupid" questions. I'm not surprised that the whiners are whining.

The Uberchip was based initially on the honda P75 ECU. The tables were enlarged to allow room for boost, routines that read the MAP sensor were rewritten, table scalars altered, tweaking, tweaking, tweaking,... All the work was done in Oki 66K assembly (by hand, without the help of an assembler I might add) and the ERM program was written in C/C++ WITHOUT MFC libraries. The boost code was then ported to the P72 (since the code is al but identical to the P75) and then support for the P28 was added by disabling the knock board checking in the P72 code.

If Uberteg is having trouble delivering, trust that it is logistical issues, not any problem with the chip or code. The kid can code like few I've ever seen.

I talked to Blake today; he's camping a friend's house until his car is running again. His friend has a garage, and they are building + installing his new engine.

PseudoSilvia, formerly known as Hatchblack, on Honda-Tech is handling all sales of his chips and/or the boost editor. Contact him.

This thread is getting a sticky because I have a hmt inbox, email inbox, and AIM going crazy over the subject. Everything you need to know is here, please give me 5 minutes of peace and quiet .

Yup. I'm tolerant of Blake because I used to be just like him, when I was a 19 y/old snot nosed brat with a shitty attitude. He has failed to treat other people in a mature, adultlike fashion.

Hello,
Im new here... anyway, Joseph could you clarify a few thing for me regarding the uberteg software?
The following is based on my research and findings/ and lack of
1) My understanding is that with Ubertegs set up you dont need to run a fpr or upgraded fuel pump. Am I correct?

2) If I purchase the bantronix software I will be able to tune it on the spot without removing the chip because it is a eeprom emulator?

3) Is this program similar to the Hondata system which is set up for 80% of daily driving (thats what I will be using it for)

4) Do you (Joseph) have other maps and numbers we can use to tune them ourselves??

5) Do you know of any NOR CAL tuners??

Thanks in advance for any/all help you will provide!! Props to HMT!!!

Correct. You'll be using the software to increase the duty cycle of your injectors, thus, providing more fuel. Your stock fuel pump will be good for up to 12psi.. I'm told.

2) If I purchase the bantronix software I will be able to tune it on the spot without removing the chip because it is a eeprom emulator?
Incorrect. The Batronix software is EEPROM burning software. Meaning, you'll be able to create ROMs, but you'll have to shut the car off, swap the ROM, and start the car again. You'll need an EEPROM emulator to do "on the fly" tuning. There are a few options. ROMulator is on of the "more known" emulators by Xtronics. Ask Joesph how he feels about Xtronics.

It's similar to Hondata int he fact that you can tune your ECU. If you tune for daily driving, great, if you tune for pure agressive race, great. Both can be done.

4) Do you (Joseph) have other maps and numbers we can use to tune them ourselves??
I'll let Joesph comment on this, but I don't think Uberteg is "popular" enough yet to have base tunes floating around, but you never know. You could just replot existing Hondata maps on the Uberteg software. Yes, this is a lot of manual work, but it will help increase the amount of base tunes available for those who wish to use Uberteg's software.

5) Do you know of any NOR CAL tuners??
