Uberdata Support (OBD1) - Current Version: 1.7 w/ Datalogging

Hi Folks, there is a guy on Honda-tech who is selling a software (hi username is uberteg). Please take a look at this http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=435072

I was wondering if anyone had tried it... the complete kit at 200$ including the tuning software.... How is it, compared to Hondata?... How do you logdata with that thing.. ?

Thanks.

Re:Uberteg Software

Try searching this forum for Uberteg and/or Uberchips. This ground has been covered pretty thoroughly.

Re:Uberteg Software

HI Joseph... I like the Uberchips, but seems like no one is there to sell it... Emailed uberteg by itself as well as Stupidfast but no one ever answered... are they still doing business, are they going to give support after sale. I would like to buy from them giving them some $$ support, but I am also afraid to get nothing back from it... You probably know them better than me and is in a good positions to give me advise, if you will...

Thanks

Re:Uberteg Software

Well, what is there is pretty solid, and I'll offer you all the tuning advice you need on it.

Have you tried PseudoSilvia on HT yet? It is my understanding he's handling most of Uberteg's sales for him now... Blake wasn't getting any time spent coding, or as is the case right now building his new engine.

Re:Uberteg Software

BTW joseph, I can hardly find any info on uberteg software on HT or HMT... I really really really want to know what this software can do and cannot do... would it work on my GSR quipped with p72 ECU... what it cannot do etc... sheesss... I would love to learn more, just asking to understand the features... Tried the search, but barely found useful infos , except for some unsueful comments...

Thanks
BO

Re:Uberteg Software

It's based on P72 and P75 code, which are 99.9% the same. That code just happens to run on other OBD1 VTEC and non-VTEC Civic/Integra ECUs since it's all one big happy hardware family.

Right now, it supports boost off the stock MAP sensor, fully adjustable fuel and ignition, custom idle, custom revlimit, fuel rescale for any size injectors you can drum up, and it also implements a second revlimit when going below a certain vehicle speed... say, 3000 rpms at 6 mph or less; this helps traction on launch like an MSD two step box. You can save tunes, import tunes, and chip as many ECUs as you like for NA or boost - UNLIKE Hondata who suckers you into only being able to use one ECU.

Any other questions?

Re:Uberteg Software

Yes, one more question, does it allow me to correct the duty cycle on injectors as well as map the fuel and retard timing by amount of boost (until how much ??). Also , can I datalog infos froms my ecu via the CN ports and the Uberteg software ?

Thanks
