im runing a p06 91 accord f22 uber 1.66 blah blah.......
ill burn my chip the car runs great no codes nada smooth as silk and it idles great. works good under boost too.

ok well everyday when i wake up to go warm up the car i get a freaking solid cel. i check for codes and the light stays solid wont blink after i put the jumper.
ok so i unplug the ecu for about a minute reconnect it and still same ----.
then ill uplug it, pull the chip, wait like 30 seconds, reinsert it, reconnect ecu, and the ****** runs like a champ

what gives?

 

Bad solder joint.

 

I had the same problem with my car, it was my mapsensor, make sure its not falling out or bare wire?mine was grounding out and causing the same ----.

 

weird, my gsr runs mint, i jumper it and the cel stays solid,, huh

 

could be a solder joint or maybe the chip just isn't making full contact with the ZIF? How long has this been going on? Anything weird with the pcb, burnt components and such?

i think it has to do with the engine being cold. it wont do it even affter i get out of work. the motor is cold but i wont get a cel. ill get it only on the first warm up at 4 am when its freezing outside.

 

you're zif socket may have a bad contact on it, i just had this problem from using my ostrich in a zif, i messed up one of the contacts, and it was throwing a solid cel every now and then out of the blue and would run like ***. if it was the chip or the program, the cel would be on all the time! put a new zif in and make sure you have no solder crossing traces or touching another joint, and i gurantee it will be fine
