Its been a week and the car runs awesome except that today I went on the highway for the first time since installing it. I pulled into 4th gear and pushed it to 4psi, then shift it into 5th gear and ran like up to like 80 mph and the car started acting funny. The air/fuel gauge stayed all green, I got off the highway and stopped at the light and the car idled at 1200 rpm instead of the usual 700-800rpm, and the engine light came on too. I got home and checked it and a weird dark vapor was coming out the exhaust pipe (not smoke). I turned the car off took the ecu fuse off for a while and then reinstalled it, the car worked fine again. I think I know what it is. I don't have check valves or missing link, when the car got into high speeds and high psi I think the map sensor went crazy and had the car running rich, am I right?

that what it sounds like. next timethat happens check what cel u get. a 3 is the map sensor. u should at least get some check valves

yep, that's the problem for sure. It will run like crap if you drive it like that.

Son of a bitch! I just posted about having this same problem. I got a cel 3 and the car runs like crap. I haven't had any problems before. I turned the boost down to 5 and now I get problems. Thats wild. So I need check valves and a missing link now? Great.

no. you need to either run a set of check valves before the map sensor..or run a missing link..not both...if using the check valves keep adding valves until you no longer run into that problem at your level of boost

I dont think he knew anything bad was going to happen at 4 psi. Get a Synapse missing link..Its easy to install..But its around 75...You can get one for 35-40 shipped on www.honda-tech.com .

hell ya when i got up to 10psi i got a code 3 cel(im using a afc and it wasnt tuned right) my car started runing so dam shitty, i thoughti blew a rod or some major damge happen. i reset theecu and was good to go!
