Default Solid CEL...

Most likely from the OBD1 cat on my 98 (OBD2) civic. I knew it would happen, just didn't know when. Before I would cruise around at 57-63 and just stay there then the throttle would like go faster. It's wierd. Well, it did it today and threw the CEL and it stayed on. It's not in limp mode because I went from 5th to 3rd and it drove fine. Basically, I have the exhaust on before the turbo and no OBD2 cat with my car as it is. I won't need it with the P28. Is it okay to drive on this? The turbo is going to be on in 2 weeks give or take, but is it fine to drive around with it on? Thanks guys! My buddie's dad owns a car lot and has a diagnostic tester and tomarrow morning we're going to run it and see what it is, but I'm guessing on secondary O2 sensor.

did you just unplug the second o2 sensor?

plug it in and zip tie it to something.

Plug it into what? The cat is OBD1. The car will be OBD1 soon anyway and won't need a use for it ever again.

Ah okay. LOL. How do you do that? Does it matter that much? If so tell me how to do this. If not it will be gone in 2 weeks with the P28 in.
