But, are you all saying that running 4 resistors/res. box is THE solution for my problem? Please confirm so I can sleep well tonight.

Re: Running totally lean after 5500rpm
Ok, thanks!
So I googled, and from what I read, in short it means that with too low resistance the injectors get overpowered so they (the injector drivers) disable to be safe? (which causes the injector to stop flowing, thus making the car sputter/run like ----). Correct me if i'm wrong please.

No, the driver circuit on a Honda doesn't know if it's flowing too much current. It's a dumb circuit that expects a smart injector install to protect it. Wiring in a resistor pack will save your injector drivers in the long term, but I doubt it is what is causing your problem.
Since you have the car, why don't you do the routine diagnostics? It's obviously running out of fuel, go verify that.

Re: Running totally lean after 5500rpm
Im too lazy to read the whole thread and do not know if this has been mentioned, Maybe the timing is too conservative and causing missfires. Also what shape are the wires, cap, button in? No matter what if it is breaking up it will look lean. Hope this helps some. Also fix the damn resistors. Tell Frank I said Hi.

Re: Running totally lean after 5500rpm
rewire your resistors. I had same ---- happen to my B16 fine for 9psi up to 5400rpms and then like a rev limiter. Replaced everything pump, filter, cleaned injectors and nothing. [b]Turned out to one of the wires for the resistor box was wired in wrong. FIX THE RESISTOR BOX WIRING

Re: Running totally lean after 5500rpm
boost cut? that was my first thought. my second is go a step coler on the plugs. if you already did that then close the gap on them some. if none of that fixes it, then come back.
fix your resistors too.
