You can verify if the chip's empty...if it comes up with stuff on it, do a search...there's a jumper trick where you take a small piece of wire and actually jump the pins on the eeprom to erase it on older willem burners. Also, you are using the 12 volt power source with the SST chips correct? Mine uses a usb cable for power and a serial port for the actual coding.
