Stucking Fumped. Burning SST 27SF512's on a Dual Power
I've read all the directions I can find and:
1) can't figure out how to set VPP to 12.5
2) get an error when I try to verify "Error at 0x00000000 Chip - 0xFF bugger = 0x7E
I've got my dips and jumpers set in the software as well as the correct chip type. I can't get it to do anything. Just burnt an Amtel with no problems.

Oddly, it doesnt give any errors when reading or writing, but the data doesnt go on the chip
Do I need to be using an AC adapter? Right now its hooked up via Parallel and USB.

Re: Stucking Fumped. Burning SST 27SF512's on a Dual Power
I've burned a few SST 512's on my dual power, gone perfectly fine for me but my method did vary from Xenocron's write up, as I never set the Eprom application to Willem, just left it on pcb3, otherwise it wouldn't work period. Running power off USB as well. Make sure you burn once at 0 offset, and then again at 8000, otherwise you're only burning on half the chip, and if it gets ground wrong, will try and read the half with nothing on it. If you get really funky, you can burn two different maps and have a switched ground, but I havn't played with that yet.

mine gives me the same error message. burns offset 0 perfect, but offset 8000 gives the error. you say it works by burning offset 0 and then another burn offset 8000? i havent tried this.
also, what does the setting 12.75 vpp mean? can somebody take a picture showing where i need to set jumpers in order to do this? does it have to do with those jumpers over to the side, maybe the one that has the 5v, 6v2 and 5v6 settings?
