i've tried but it still won't work. i ended up hooking it up to a borrowed laptop and it went without a problem.

Maybe you have hardware issues.

Check your computer manufacturer's support site and see if there is an updated driver for your USB subsystem.

There was one for an IBM Thinkpad I had. It didn't effect my BURN1 so much as anything that was USB, but.. that might help.

 

as long as the laptop works, i'll put off fixing it. it probably does need updated usb drivers.
