I've learn to hate Willems.

Went to Moates Burn 1, WILL NEVER GO BACK!

 

I was having same problems with mine!!sounds to me like you need to use the other willem sofware to do your burns.I'm using windows xp and something about the version i down loaded off the page in wenocrons web site didnt work with my operating system ask exnocron about the other version i think its .097g or something any ways when u get that version you will have to use the jumper.mine works fine now

 

use the jumper on 27c256's as well??

doesnt need a jumper wire according to the program.. pin 3 & 31; how far fown from the top are they? 3?

 

Look at the picture in projekteg's write-up and you will see where the jumper wire is. The pins count from the arm of the socket.

 

Anyone that is STILL having problems with a Willem after you are sure you are doing everything right should try another parallel cable to eliminate a cable problem.

I was told last night by my supplier that EVERY board is thoroughly tested before going out.

Anyone that bought one from me (and can prove it) if you still have issues, send it back to me...ill test it out and get it replaced by the manufacturer as soon as possible.

 

You guys are going on about willems, moates etc, where the hell do i find this sh*t? I live in Ottawa Canada and all ou radio shacks sell are ---- for our igloos....? Is it something i can get at a puter store? Or does it have to be ordered through e-bay?
