255 high pressure fuel pump...walbro
100 bucks(US)...im running with the fmu too
and it made a difference(from what
my wideband tells me)
i went from not even gunning the thing
to have safe ar(11:9-12) with the
fuel pump on 8psi.
going to chip the ecu though...with
injectors so not keeping the fmu for
long.

so im using an external wg @ 6psi max.. this is because the internal wg is not adjustable, + i have more faith in an external wg + it looks nice

mayB chippin'is a better option afther all. but running on a basemap, is still crappy, and probably i can figuer it out my self to put a basemap on my ecu with an eprom. running on a basemap still isnt the best there is. ill probably chip my next car/ecu when im going to buy a newer car.

what fuelpump is recommend?
for starters i know ur internal gate is set to 12. but u only wanna boost 6psi max. your gonna have to get the dp flange block-off n run the external wg only. you dont need both. i mean u could jus leave it there n not hook up the vacuum line hoping it stays shut. i had problems doing that over time, but it would work.

and if ur on the fmu long enough, you'll be chippin sooner then you think, not with a new car but with a nwe motor.

walbro intank or inline. doesn't matter i guess. use the intank, its always gonna be there.

did you had FMU 12:1 and no fuelpump first?
what does gunning mean? 11:9 ?? i dont understand the 11:9-12

can i use a smaller pump than 225 walbro? something like a interga pump?
whats the difference between the stock civic pump an walbro? stock pumps 100? walbro 225?

@ turboDA6

i leave the internal wg closed there is a closed flange on it.

i know that... its not a close flange, its the wg flapper. i had an issue with keeping it on, it opened under boost for me. then again im running way more boost then you.

the 11.9-12.3 is the air fuel ratio. those basically perfect ratios but i still wouldn't trust it on an fmu... a stock pump is stock. its only made to push fuel for the motor naturally aspirated. when u add air, u need to add fuel. so a bigger fuel pump is needed.

a stock pump is old... dont rely on it. for the price dude, just grab a 255 walbro. its the best bang for the buck

what was the total price of it? i mayb its a good idea for me to chip 2.

if ill buy the chip, what do i need for my setup?
6psi
255lbs fuelpump
stock injectors?

and the chip? (eprom?)

if i have chipped my ecu, can i then just add more boost? or do i need to re-chip, if i wanne run 8psi?
