What do you know...you're right. I never lowered the map past 14.7 before so I assumed it was like my Evo's map and could be lowered. My mistake, but for some reason mine runs between 14.7 and 15.5 at cruise now anyway.

i just filled up 411 miles worth of driving at 14.85 gallons..


thats 27.67mpg

best i ever got was 27.9mpg on stock ecu.. only 3" ching chong dp, no cat, anti foulers on the o2, thrush turbo 3" in/out, and modded the stock airbox to remove the MAF body/3" tube, and threw on a ricer 3" cone filter. i wonder if i can break 28 or even 29

subaru didnt have a usdm turbo car (outside of obdo) until 2002
