Default Datalogging problems...

Well... I bought the radio shack cable today - assembled it following the instructions on this site... Plugged it into my computer (detected it on COM4).

So I boot up uberdata, load P75 (import only), go to datalogging, select com4... Check MPH and RPM and nothing happens... Just a little red bar along the bottom.

Am I doing something wrong? Should I load stock LS.bin instead of P75 Import only.bin or does that matter?

I don't know if it's my soldering or not but I'd like to know if I'm doing something wrong in uberdata before I resolder everything. My soldering is ghetto, at best.

Thanks for the help.

What version of Uberdata were you using? You need to use a version of Uberdata that contains the Dataloging scripts, run it on your ecu, and datalog using that version. I've heard using the GSR basemap and disabling the Vtec and knock sensor's works as well. Also check the beaud rate setting's in your device manager. I beleive they should be set to 38400.

The basemap was burned on 1.7 BETA and im using 1.7 to datalog.

I'm using the Stock LS basemap. I changed the baud rate to 38400... No dice

I'm gonna try it tomorrow when I get my flash chips so I can burn a couple different roms. I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks.

Yeah, I beleive that with 1.7BETA version the only dataloging rom that worked was the GSR. Try using the GSR map and disabling all the stuff you don't need on an LS, burn it to the chip. Then try dataloging.

ls map is fluxored, use the gsr map and uncheck 'knock sensor', 'vtec', 'vtec < 20mph', 'vtec coolant', and 'vtp disable'

AH I GOT THAT ---- TO WORK!!

So pumped right now.

Anyway - I think my main problem was not having the baud rate up.

I also burned a Stock GSR map with imported P75 maps... Changed the revlimits etc.

Works like a charm! Thanks for the help you guys!
