yeah i got rid of turboedit and all its components from my hard drive and then reinstalled everything
The ecu I am using is a romless ecu that has been converted to accept an external eeprom, whether this would make a difference to anything I dont know

thing is, it works okay in vac just not in boost, that doesnt sound like it would be a problem within the modifications of the ecu.
I'm in the process of building another, this time using a PM7, dev board, ribbon cable and my proper soldering station, I'll post up if that goes to ---- as well.
Unfortunately the only chippable ecu I have available has a couple of damaged tracks so intermittently throws codes

Giggle... I was going to say... your issue sounded like it was map seeing boost... but with TE rom... that shouldn't be issue.
Glad you figured it out... you are a better man than I doing the external eprom route instead of just using the chippable ones.
