Another weird Willem Issue (Reading SST's)
Trying to pull a bin from my SST chip that I just took out of my car.
I cannot get it to read the image so that I can save it to a bin file.
What I've tried (all give the result invalid file when i try to open it in crome)
jumper in SST write position offset NOT set to 8000
jumper in SST write position offset IS set to 8000
jumper in SST Erase position offset NOT set to 8000
jumper in SST Erase postion offset IS set to 8000
how in the hell do I read the friggin chip?
**Update** With the offset at 8000 in write mode the buffer has what appears to be actual data, but when i save the bin, no dice.

Re: Another weird Willem Issue (Reading SST's)
Might need to set the Offset to 0 and then read the chip. it will produce a 64k file, which you will then have to open in a Hex Editor to get rid of the first 32k of junk (FF).
In the Hex Editor erase from 00000 to 07fff and then from 08000 to 0ffff will be your BIN.
I know that even on my Xtronics, it will only read the whole 64k chip and not a portion of it (at least I havent played to much to figure that out)
