What is the best oil filter?
What is the best oil filter? I wanna change my oil, and this Fram one I got in ain't doin' a good job. What is really the best oil filter to use? I was look at some purolator's (is that spelt right?) pureone, seemed pretty good, said it was like 98% on the SAE testing. I think I'm done with the Fram, but there is one fram that caught my eye, it's like a Fram extended life, where you would only have to change your oil filter every 7k miles. There are a few others, but I wanna know what is the filter that does it's job best. If ya'll got some input, please let us all know.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hehehe honda filter won't work with me jag :P. But anyhoo, so I take it you say stick with OEM? I was thinking about buying OEM, but I wanna know if there's a better one to use cause then I'd want to use that one. If not, I go get the OEM.
Thanks for your input.

Re:What is the best oil filter?
purolator pureone and fram tough gard both have valves in them that hold oil after your car shuts down. so when you start it, the filter actually sprays fresh oil into the engine when you start it.
i use the purolator pureone and the k&n if i've got the money.

Awesome you guys, hey beerbong, awesome link man, everyone needs to read that. Also thanks kyle and hotrex for your input. I was thinking about getting the pureone, like kyle suggested, but I think after reading the article beerbong has, I'm gonna have to get a Mobil 1. I guess it'll work fine, cause I also use Mobil 1 synthetic in this car. Oh man an oil change is gonna cost me like 50 bucks, and thats just for oil and filter, not even tax .
Too bad the article didn't test a K&N filter, I really like K&N, but after reading that article kinda scared to use just anything.
Travis: I wouldn't even wipe my *** with a Fram.
Seriously ya'll need to read that article and stop using FRAM!

Gag nammit, went to autozone and they don't have any Mobil 1 oil filters for my car. I don't even think mobil makes em. Where do ya'll get your k&n oil filters from, I went to pepboys and autozone?, they only have air filters.
Thanks
