Default Lookin' for a tach

guys I just got this 1996 civic DX, and as you know it has no tachometer, and I wonna put one in, and a friend told me that I use the whole gauge cluster out of a 96 LX simple plug, and play is that true

EDIT: Nevermind, I thought he was asking about a 92-95 DX. I'm not sure about 96+ DX models.

Have you thought about getting an aftermarket tach? It would be more accurate than the stock tach.
