Why does that Kiwi *** keep looking at perfectly obvious home brew setups and then goes speaking dictionary about a bunch of myths and theroys like he is Mr. ------ Wizard and ----.

"Well if you paint your IC black then the heats dissapation would be adversly affected by the earths Greenhouse effect compaounded by the dangle of the angle in which teh sun is heating."

You fail to realize that in this situation ...your point would make no difference. Its not like its a 9 sec car.

Go back to H-T. they will love your theroys and you could bench race and talk sceintific matters with all the other sub 13 sec cars that really need things like volumetric effeciency in their IC's or maximum downforce on their spoilers.

LOL, i knew a guy at school years ago that could talk ---- about chemistry like that and make it sound real :-) was always a laugh to hear him speak. and then to watch the teacher kick his ****. cracked me up everytime. tonight included.

lemme guess : log ftw?

its the little things that add up and make a difference. many of them come for free with a bit of work.

and, it doesnt hurt to think about your setup even if you dont change it because of costs etc.

home made doesnt have to = cheap, and half pie.

what the ---- is hondatech anyway? everyone on here acts like everyone by default knows about it...

like i have posted on here before, i have no membership there, and probably never will...

thanks. i have an illegal garage cluth kit that held fine at ~8psi, but i dont know how long itll last at 20. and i rebuild the oem lsd with thicker shims and tighter springs. i dont count on any of the stock drivetrain lasting too long so ill probably build an 8.8 or 9 inch for it, 1 piece driveshaft, and a W trans.

when i feel like the hp isnt delivered well enough then i will get into the nitty gritty of trying to extract every last little horsepower. im just having fun building this car and if i can do little stuff here and there just to try it out, then im going to. its my time and my money... even though i get most of this ---- for free. its just a fun, and easy, car to build up and work on. my wife kicks it in the garage while in working on it, and sometimes even lends a hand, so thats a plus. like ive said before, ive been around corollas since the mid/late 90s (before i could even drive) so ive had a lot of time to think up ---- to do to this car.

thanks for all the replys though. its almost always gratifying to hear peoples opinions.
