The 20th is the next street legal drags at Mission BC and I want to put down some times but when I get into higher gears, I get a little bit of ping at the very top end. I think it's because my downpipe is really small and hacked together, but I was wondering if there was a rule as to how much ping a motor can put up with. I haven't heard any serious knock, but I can make it ping now and then.

Oh yeah, and does anyone know where I can find an Audi S4 intercooler or one where both pipes are on the same side?

your downpipe shouldnt matter if you are pinging or not, unless it was some ungodly 1inch pipe and the exhaust gases couldnt escape, but still then thats highly unlikly.

You need more fuel on the top end, or you need to take some timing away..

Or, if you wanna run a little bit more boost at the track, and just say ---- it, Get some race gas, Should cover you fine, (depending on how much pinging you have now)

About one and a quarter, three feet after the turbine only. And it sits 2 bars above stoich on my A/F which is as high as my O2 sensor makes it go. Guess I need to hook up the BTM asap.

Your using an Autometer gauge?
You should be at the *** end of the green lights when in boost. Def, not in the yellow.
Id add a touch more fuel, and take maybe 1-2degrees timing out at the dizzy till you get a BTM.

Ofcourse, just saying -----it and running race gas sure sounds tasty! lol
