b16a full swap ef built NO TRADES!!
Thinking about going back to SOHC:
I have sir2 b16a motor with srp pistons 8.5, eagle rods, acl bearings, minor p&p work rebuilt with less than 100 miles so far.
s1 jdm cable trans
1stgen hasport mounts
skunk2 manifold
Dyno tuned from day one
Corrected #'s were:
278 hp @ 8000
193 tq @6250
1/4 mile in my 89 hatch that weighted in at 2440 with me:
13.3 @ 106 mph w 2.23 60'
Swap does include obd-1 ls distrib (I'm running obd-1)
does not include injectors

Re: WTT built b16a sir2 motor with cable swap for d16a6 swap plus cash
Well I really like this motor, it runs very well. My problem is soon I want to start trying to hit 400whp and more, and I know I can do it with a sohc and when you think of that vs b series you get a huge cost diffrence.
Would the b16a be better...yeah
Would it be faster .............yeah
Can I afford to blow trannies and diffs and ----.....no
With a d-series I can buy 3-5 trannies for the price of one b series.
Motors are about the same.
This is the only reason I want to find a sohc....

Re: WTT built b16a sir2 motor with cable swap for d16a6 swap plus cash
Price wise I would take a bit less than a normal obd-0 b16a swap. I would not need your ecu, distrib. Mine includes the complete mount kit, linkage ect. If you want to talk more about it pm me with other ways to contact you.
