Well $165 for a b16a block and crank seems fair.
$600 in new parts (pistons and rods)
$100 in machine work
labor $200

I'd part the block for around $825 plus shipping. Not bad considering it has $600 in new parts alone and I got those parts for HELLA cheap.

Would the b16a be better...yeah
Would it be faster .............yeah
Can I afford to blow trannies and diffs and ----.....no
With a d-series I can buy 3-5 trannies for the price of one b series.
Motors are about the same.
This is the only reason I want to find a sohc....
AMEN brother! Dseries 4 life

on hmt your labor doesn't add into prices, thats like one of us saying i got a motor for sale for 500 but if you want me to pull it for your to pick up it will be an extra 100 bux. so total it up 600 picked up.... dont make much sence to me.

not trying to knock your sale cuz i think its koo, but dont do that. happy day to you.

Obviously you cannot add either
165 + 600 +100=865 right there not even including the $200 your complaining about and I posted $825 which is even less than I have cash wise INTO it. I was trying to show what it is worth.

Not trying to knock your post but...umm wait..yeah I am.............
