checked cap/rotor/plugs/wires

If cold it runs like a charm, when it warms up funny things start happening.

not sure what else i should check. This is my DD so its a pain in the butt.

 

Give hmt 3 more years and there will be an equal amount of toyota to Honda tech

Car has egr system maybe something malfunctioning in TB?

 

My civic ran like that when the o2 sensor went bad. It ran fine cold but once it got up to temp it ran like *** and wouldn't go above 4k rpm.

 

take the dizzy cap off and wipe the water out of it, my rolla pulls this ---- all the time

 

maf going bad? Bad O2? EGR problem? any codes?

 

Does it run better with the MAF unplugged?

 

They run with the maf unpluged? Mine wont.

 

Yours is a flapper type. IF his is hotwire, it will run unplugged. If it runs better, its the MAF for sure. Cant remember when they changed over on the 7a-fe.

Corollas are notorious for hotwire MAF failures. A new one is like $250.

EDIT: Nevermind his car is spilt year still a 4a-fe.
