Default TurboEdit capable of 300 whp?

Next summer I am planning on boosting my D16A6 to 300 hp using TurboEdit. However, my tuner feels that TurboEdit is iffy at that power level.

I plan on using 550 RC injectors, and a motorola 2.5 bar map. Does anyone on here have success with this power level? I tried sesarching, but it seems to be broken.

Don't see why you couldn't hit that on TE. I think your tuner just wants to try to make some dough off you by trying to sell you some other system.

300 hp is certainly attainable on TurboEdit...but TE isnt a widely used system in the grand scheme of things. If your tuner is more comfortable with another system, wouldnt you rather he tune with a system that he feels is better suited?

If you make him tune TE and try to hit 300 and god forbid the motor blows...are you going to blame him?

I think that if you are tuning the car yourself, TE is the system for you...if you have to go to a tuner, go with their suggestions if they have a good reputation and history tuning.

crome is great software!!! if you have the means to convert to obd-1 i would. TE is awesome also but isnt widely recognized as chris said i woul djust convert and gve your tuner what he wants and you will be better off in the long run anyway.

I think Xenocron's right in this case then...if he's more comfortable in Crome, then go for it. I'm actually going to be showing one of the local tuner's (who owns a shop and dyno) BRE for the first time.
