GSR Weak Spot?
heres the deal. i want to boost my gsr, but i cant decide if i wanna boost it stock or throw in some pistons and rods. whats the weak point in the motor, is it the sleeves? i just dont want to spend the money on pistons/rods if its the sleeves i need to worry about, in which case i would just boost it stock and then later on do a full sleeve and build. i just got a gt35r and im trying to figure out where to go from here
the sleves are pretty solid on honda motors. What are your power goals? Obviously if you're going for 800 hp then there'll be more weak links then if you're going for 250. I think one weak link is the ring lands on the stock pistons, and if you're going for power levels over 300 then i think the rods could pose a problem as well.

Sounds delicious to me.
well i cant afford to have it benson sleeved like i would do in a perfect world, thats what i meant. but with that bottom end setup you think ill be alright at 350 or what would be my limits with the stock sleeves
well then hell, i might as well get as much power as i can, id be perfectly happy 400 lol, i guess the only thing limiting me of that would be injectors bc i planned on using some 450s i have laying around. wonder what size id need
