GSR Weak Spot?

this would be my setup to shoot for 400whp with my gt35r

Eagle "H" beam Rods w/ ARP rod bolts
JE 9:1 pistons
acl bearings
golden eagle block guard

I've seen bone stock GS-R's run and hold 350whp just fine...weak point is definitely pistons.

i dont have money for a back up motor. im not willing to take that chance at all.


we arent talking about a cheap *** d series

I didn't say you should immediately dive in and try to push 350hp, I was giving you an idea of what the motor is really capable of

i paid as much for my GSR motor as i did for my Z6...

350whp is definently a goal possible to make with a built bottom end and a block guard. I've seen 420whp with the same setup on a larger tubo and 93 octane. So, 350 is definetly possible just make sure the tune is good. I would also recommend upgrading the ignition b/c the stock internal coil sucks.
